Deceased Estate

We will need copies the following documents for us to facilitate a transfer

Copy of the Deceased Firearms License

Copy of the Will naming the executor and the beneficiary. (If there is no Will, the estate is now in intestate and will require a court probate of administration naming the administrator and beneficiary.)

Copy of the death certificate

Signed and dated letter from the executor & beneficiary specifying what’s happening with the firearms. Both executor & beneficiary need to provide a form of government ID with signature to match.

The recipient of the firearms must have valid permits to acquire for each firearm. Permits can be applied via presenting your valid firearms license in store or by yourself via the Victorian Police website link available on our website.
